Stockholm will host a one-day CS:GO event called the "Play it Cool All-Stars Challenge," which will feature some of the game's most known players taking on community teams. The DreamHack Play it Cool CS:GO Community Challenge brings together Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund, Richard "shox" Papillon, and Mikail "Maikelele" Bill alongside FACEIT's James "BARDOLPH" Bardolph and a community member who won the DreamHack Winter shootout challenge—Benjamin “lolz1e” Borgman—to play against five community teams.
The All-Star team will congregate in a studio in Stockholm, Sweden and play the five community teams in five online best-of-one matches. All five teams made their way through five online brackets with 256 teams each in order to be given a chance to take part in Play it Cool.
The schedule for the event, as well as the five teams that will be participating, appear as follows:
As previously mentioned, the Play it Cool Challenge will also have broadcast talent on-site to help deliver content for the stream, and this team includes various personalities in the CS:GO scene.
Any community team that manages to beat the All-Star team is automatically awarded $2,000. Since the event is also sponsored by ASUS ROG, there are additional prizes available for certain individual performances.
